The Donald K. Rhine Scholarship is offered by Reliant Community Credit Union. This scholarship program offers multiple awards, each valued at up to $3,000.00 to high school seniors and adults who are enrolling as full-time college students. Recipients are chosen based on their embodiment of the credit union philosophy (people helping people). Apply by February 6, 2026.
EMCC students planning to pursue careers related to nursing assistant, engineering, or digital visual communication may apply for this scholarship. To be eligible, you must be planning to enroll as a student in a post-secondary program during the 2025-26 school year. The deadline is May 2, 2025 at 3 p.m.
  • For EMCC Students
The NTHS Scholarship Program provides over $300,000 in scholarships to high school and post-secondary members annually. Each scholarship has different requirements and application window dates. The Jon H. Poteat Scholarship will award 250 one-thousand-dollar scholarships to eligible active members. The application is open from September 1st to May 1st each year.
The Nautilus Scholarship is for seniors in Monroe County who are pursuing architecture, construction, construction management, trades, or a field of education (e.g., math, science, technology, etc.). This new scholarship program offers financial aid to students in New York State who are starting at a technical institute. The New York Housing Association award supports careers in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.

The Board of Trustees of the New York Schools Insurance Foundation and the Board of Governors of the New York Schools Insurance Reciprocal are pleased to announce that they are once again offering Cristin Ann Bambino, Paul Jensen, and Joseph Goncalves scholarship awards for the coming year. These scholarships are for college-bound students from NYSIR-subscribing districts only. Criteria and applications are available on nysir.org

The SPAC Young Creatives Scholarship supports the next generation of creative minds by empowering artistic expression. This award supports seniors passionate about photography or those planning to pursue higher education in related fields. SPAC will be providing two $1500 scholarships per region: West, Central and East. Also includes a camera kit. Please see deadline for submitting applications.

One of the benefits of SkillsUSA membership is the opportunity to apply for scholarships available only to SkillsUSA members. Please be sure to check each individual scholarship for full descriptions and application close date so you don’t miss out.

SUNY (State University of New York) offers a range of scholarships, each with different eligibility criteria. SUNY scholarships may cover various expenses such as tuition, fees, room and board, textbooks, and other educational costs.

The New York State Association of Career and Technical Education Administrators established the Thomas Olivo Leadership Award for each of the six ACTEA Zones in New York State. Dr. Olivo recognized the importance of students in trade, industrial, technical, and health fields. He promoted leadership development through career-focused student organizations.

The Army ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps) Scholarship is a program designed to help students pay for college while preparing them for a career as an officer in the U.S. Army. Four-Year and Two-Year Scholarships are available for high school students planning to attend college.
